Two people have died after a motorcycle and car collided on a busy road in Melbourne’s southeast overnight.
Two people have died after a horror crash between a car and motorbike in Melbourne’s southeast overnight.
Police were told a motorcyclist and a car collided on the Napean Hwy near Swanston St in Mentone shortly after 9pm on Wednesday.
A man and woman, who were both on the motorcycle, were rushed to hospital.
The man died a short time later.
The male driver and female passenger of the car were also injured and rushed to hospital.
The woman later died from her injuries.
Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding in the incident.
