Man, 20, killed in horror six-vehicle crash in Chandler, Brisbane

A young man has died in a six-vehicle crash in Brisbane’s east, with police revealing one of the drivers involved fled the scene.

A man has died after a horror six-vehicle crash involving trucks on a major road in Brisbane’s east.

Six vehicles collided on Old Cleveland Rd, Chandler at about 3.20pm on Monday.

A 20-year-old Meadowbrook man travelling as a passenger in an Isuzu tip truck died at the scene.

Police said another vehicle fled the scene before they arrived.

Five others were assessed by paramedics at the scene.

“No one else was injured as a result of the incident,” police said in a statement.
