Two iconic products have come together to create the ultimate Aussie spread for your breakfast or snack.

Whether it be for your go-to breakfast or a yummy snack, the winning combination of cream cheese with Vegemite leaves many people salivating.

Now those people are finally getting what they want, with Bega cream cheese and Vegemite coming together to create the ultimate Aussie spread.

It will officially start appearing on Woolworths shelves nationwide from Monday.

Bega Group general manager of marketing Matt Gray said the flavour fusion was bound to be a hit.

“If you’re a fan of Vegemite, you won’t be disappointed,” he said.

“If Vegemite hasn’t won you over just yet, this milder taste of our iconic spread offers a new way to enjoy the punchy flavour Aussies have come to know and love.”

Although the spread has not yet official launched, some food bloggers have already heard about it and people are getting excited.

Foodie Mumma Ren shared a photo of the container on social media and asked her followers how they would eat it.

“I was thinking in puff pastry triangles or scrolls,” she said.

One person commented: “I’d put this straight on toast or bread and just eat it as is.”

Another person wrote: “I’ll put it on Cruskits.”

Another person said they would spread it on a “bagel with some leafy greens like spinach or lettuce”.

If you are wondering where to store the product at home, Mr Gray said there was no room for debate.

“Bega cream cheese with Vegemite is made with fresh milk and cream sourced from Aussie farms,” he said.

“As you’ll find it in the chilled section at your local supermarket, this product belongs in the fridge.”
