Containers for Change, a privately operated scheme launched by the State Government, will provide a 10c refund for each eligible container donated.

The scheme aims to increase recycling and reduce litter but for Nobbys Beach Surf Life Saving club volunteer Daniel Homer it is a new way to help raise money for the club.
“Having funds to buy more equipment and therefore keep the beach safer is the main thing,” he said.
The club will have a mobile pop-up refund point operating on Sundays, 8am-noon.
Residents also have the option of setting up an online account to have the cash reimbursed directly into their bank account at all of the 30 drop-off points on the Gold Coast.
Palm Beach Scout Group has also been stockpiling bottles for months and is looking forward to cashing in.
Scout Leader Cindy Wimberley said any funds will go towards new canoes and outdoor equipment.
At 44 per cent, Queensland has one of the lowest recycling rates in the country.
The Bulletin yesterday revealed beer lovers will pay at least $2.40 more for a carton because of the scheme.
