Accidents cause delays on Pacific Motorway

Accidents have turned parts of the Pacific Motorway into a carpark, with police warning drivers to allow extra time.

ALLOW more time for the morning commute with accidents on the Pacific Motorway delaying southbound traffic and spilling onto adjoining roads.

Police are still at the scene of a Jeep crash in the early hours of the morning at Ormeau though all lanes have now reopened and traffic is beginning to flow again.

However congestion has built up significantly.

There are also reports of a separate crash at Pimpama between Exit 57 and 49.

Conditions are also starting to build in the southbound lanes around Dreamworld, along with northbound through Oxenford.

Motorists are being told to expect delays or seek alternative routes.
