Police investigating fiery fatal crash after rider killed

The trike motorcycle collided with a parked trailer before bursting into flames.

A man has died after a trike motorcycle collided with a parked trailer before bursting into flames on NSW’s Mid North Coast.

Police were called to Wootton Way near the Pacific Hwy at Bulahdelah about 8.30am on Tuesday after reports of a crash.

Police are investigating after a man was killed after his trike crashed on the NSW Mid North Coast.

Upon arrival, officers located a trike which had crashed into a parked trailer on the shoulder of the road before igniting.

Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze; however, the male rider, who has not been identified, died at the scene.

A crime scene has since been established with police investigations underway into the cause of the fatal collision.

Wootton Way was expected to remain closed for a number of hours while forensic officers examined the scene.
