A 36-year-old man has been charged with alleged drink driving after a range rover crashed into a wall on the Gold Coast.
Police were called to the corner of Cotlew St and Benow Rd in Southport at 9.35pm on Tuesday night after the car crashed into a wall.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman claimed the driver was the only person in the car at the time and officers charged with alleged drink driving.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson said paramedics rushed to the scene and assessed the man and took him to Gold Coast University Hospital with facial injuries in a stable condition.
The Upper Mount Gravatt man is set to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court on October 8.
