Logan students take part in Griffith University’s GLO @ Logan Entrepreneurial Innovation Challenge

GRIFFITH University is helping young innovators reach their full potential with its regular GLO @ Logan Entrepreneurial Innovation Challenge, which attracts up to 80 Year 9 and Year 10 high school students and teachers from Logan and Redland.

The three-day GLO Challenge gives students a chance to exercise and refine skills in science, technology, engineering, arts, mathematics (STEAM) and their business acumen.

Flagstone State College, Redlands State College and Loganlea State High School were the most recent winners of the challenge.

Events have yielded practical outcomes for several teams, with students conceiving new apps, games, prototypes, videos and assistive robots.

All have the chance to network with other schools in the region and liaise with expert mentors from Griffith, as well as entrepreneurs and businesses.

The GLO @ Logan Entrepreneurial Innovation Challenge is hosted by the Pro Vice Chancellor’s Office in Logan, and the Griffith Business School is continuously supported by a wide range of disciplines across the University.
