Logan a top place for families to work and play, says Villa World

DEVELOPERS are being drawn to the bright lights of Logan.

With its array of entertainment hubs, national developer Villa World said it was no accident the company was investing $1.3 billion of development activity in Logan.

From the monthly Eats and Beats festival and the historic Beenleigh Artisan Distillery, to an array of funky cafes and craft markets, Logan is quickly becoming a highly desirable community for both work and play.

Villa World development director for Queensland Peter Johnson said Logan’s vast array of facilities fit well with the company’s promotion of an active lifestyle.

“It’s no longer just about the home and the back yard — it’s about the whole lifestyle experience,” he said.

“We are seeing entertainment in many different aspects become a crucial factor in purchases with buyers wanting dining, shopping, live entertainment and fitness options all within ease of access to their homes.”

Mr Johnson said Villa World was taking advantage of the untapped potential in Logan, with its communities of Covella — its largest Queensland community — Killara and Chamber’s Ridge, located conveniently amid the action.

Mr Johnson said Logan’s affordability, coupled with its proximity to the Gold Coast and Brisbane, was increasingly appealing to families and investors.

“We combine the entertainment within the Logan region with a wide range of facilities that maximise lifestyle for our residents.

“We are highly focused on providing a healthy lifestyle and, as such, we include bike and walking tracks, recreation facilities as well as entertainment areas for barbecues and socialising,” Mr Johnson said.

“That, in itself, is resonating with buyers who feel they have everything they need on their doorstep with the added bonus of nearby shopping centres, dining venues and monthly festivals.

“Buyers like feeling connected.

“To know Brisbane city and world-class beaches are nearby, seals the deal.”
