THE COUPLE: Kirra Longmuir and Charlie Embley
THE LOVE STORY: Who says nothing good happens after 2am? Kirra and Charlie met 12 years ago when Charlie was managing a nightclub on the Glitter Strip and look at them now. Charlie proposed for Kirra’s birthday in July 2016.

“We were at dinner celebrating Kirra’s birthday in Maui, Hawaii,” he says. “The ring was hidden inside a chocolate ball that was part of our dessert.” Chocolate and a ring? That’s a big yes.
THE BIG DAY: March 31 at Seseh Villas Canggu, Bali. Thanks to their wedding planner Tia from Bali Exclusive Weddings, Charlie and Kirra were able to enjoy their big day without worrying about the details.
Kirra says, “the breathtaking decorating and the family and friends who travelled all the way to celebrate with us,” were some of her favourite things, while they both agree the best part of the day was their magical first dance under sprinkling rain with fireworks going off.

THE DRESS: MXM Couture Brisbane. “The embellishments and bead work was so intricate and amazing it was exactly what I wanted,” Kirra says. “The designer is able to shape them on the dress and create lines that show off your curves.”
