Wackadoo! New Bluey video game is coming in time for Christmas

Bluey fans, save all your dollar bucks because your favourite Aussie animation is expanding into the gaming space! Yes, for real life!
Big and little Bluey fans will be able to dive into the world of Bluey - including inside the Heelers' family home and surrounding areas of where they live - in the first ever Bluey-themed video game made by Outright Games.
The game will feature the original voices of characters on the show, including Dad, Bandit (David McCormack) and Mum, Chilli (Melanie Zanetti), and players will be able to engage in story-driven episodic gameplay with activities inspired by fan favourite moments from the show as well as a brand-new four-part storyline.

When the Bluey video game will be available
It's good news for all gamers too!
The Bluey video game will be coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC on 17 November 2023, so pretty much every gamer (no matter what brand you have home) will be able to have a play.
And just in time for Christmas, too!

How the Bluey game will work
Four players will be able to play the game, with gamers able to choose their character - either Bandit, Chilli, Bingo or Bluey.
Fans will also recognise some familiar games the pups play on the show, including ‘Keepy Uppy’ and ‘Magic Xylophone’ and will be able to earn rewards while they play so they can give their characters a glow-up with new costumes.
And the best news of all is that the game has been designed with felxibility ange all age groups in mind, so everyone in the family can enjoy playing from mum and dad right down to the preschooler in your home.
Fans aren't the only ones excited by the news. Stephanie Malham, COO of Outright Games said the team behind the game is "incredibly excited" about the new offering.
"It’s a thrill for us to bring Bluey’s world to life with a level of interactivity that has never been seen before and by ensuring that the game is accessible and enjoyable for all ages we know fans across the globe will be delighted," she shared.
Kevin Jorge, Head of Games at BBC Studios is also keen to get the game out to fans: “We’re delighted to be working with Outright Games on Bluey’s first video game. It’s very important for us to capture the essence of fun and games that is central to the series. We know fans will be excited to explore Bluey’s world and join in with the Heeler family’s antics.”
