Jetstar launches $13 Melbourne-Gold Coast airfare sale

HOT on the heels of Tigerair offering $1 return flights to the Gold Coast, Jetstar will put 10,000 domestic fares on sale for $13 today.

You can snap up $13 Jetstar flights from Melbourne to the Gold Coast from midday today.

But there’s a catch — you have to be a Club Jetstar member.

The 10,000 seats from $13 will go live for all members at midday and run until 11.59pm tonight (unless sold out prior).

TIGERAIR $1 RETURN FLIGHT SALE

New Club Jetstar members will pay an initial $49 joining fee plus an annual membership fee of $49.99, which is waived in the first year so the customer only pays $49 total to join now.

The membership includes access to exclusive member airfares and travel benefits as well as early access to major sale campaigns.

Jetstar says members can save up to $177 on return international flights and $108 on domestic trips.

Tigerair yesterday launched it’s network-wide $1 return airfare sale where customers pay for their outbound flight and return for only $1*.

A total of 14,000 bargain fares for travel between mid-July and mid-September 2017 are on sale until midday Saturday May 13 (or until sold out) and includes flights from Gold Coast to Sydney.
