The video featured a black and white photo of Stacey, alongside the words: “It is with great sadness that I have to tell you that our beautiful Stacey passed away at 20 to 2. Can I ask you to respect the family’s privacy at this difficult time.”

It comes just one week after Stacey shared her final heartbreaking post about how she made her husband Anthony food “for the last time”.

“What a night I’ve had,” Stacey said in the clip as she struggled to speak. “I woke up at 4am this morning. I came downstairs and I made my husband French bread.

“I locked everything up, turned everything off and I crawled up the stairs. When I say crawl I mean crawl. One plate forward, cup of coffee I made forward and that took a good five to six minutes (before) I eventually got to the top.”

Stacey said she stood still as she felt dizzy and was short of breath before she walked into their bedroom to give her husband his food.

“He was flat out sleeping and I woke him up and I said ‘I made French bread for ya’ and he’s like ‘what are you on about’. He hadn’t asked for French bread … and he told me to come to bed.”

Stacey thought her son helped her make the toast before he interrupted to say he was also in bed. She then went on to say she was becoming more and more forgetful and was often misplacing things.

The video, which was viewed 1.2 million times, left thousands in tears with many commenting that an “angel” had helped her make the food.

“I think in her heart she knew why she made him that French toast. Wishing the family strength and love,” one woman wrote.

“I can’t stop watching this video knowing it was your last,” another person commented alongside several crying emojis.

“This was hard to watch and just seen the news. I’m so heartbroken she never got to spend one last Christmas with her family. RIP beautiful Stacey,” a third follower said.

Others went on to describe just how much of an “amazing” woman Stacey was as tributes continue to pour in for the mother-of-four.

“Bless her heart, she will be sadly missed. I like to think it was an Angel cooking with her that morning staying close for when her time came,” one woman wrote.

“One of your angels was helping you ready to take you home. Sweet dreams to one of the bravest women I’ve seen through the worst time of her life,” added another.

CANCER DIAGNOSIS AFTER BACK PAIN

Stacey was diagnosed with cancer in April 2020 after experiencing a night of agonising back pain.

She had been mowing the lawn the day before when the pain kept her up during the night, Chronical Live reported.

Stacey was taken to hospital by ambulance where she later had received the devastating news.

“I had been cutting the grass and I thought I had a trapped nerve. When I got to the hospital they first thought it was my gallbladder. The pain was excruciating and they gave me tests and sent me for an MRI scan,” Stacey told the publication in May last year.

She said 25 minutes of getting the scan doctors told her she had cancer of the rectum that had spread throughout her body.

Stacey, who had described herself as fit and living a healthy lifestyle, tragically died last week, leaving behind four children.

Speaking at the beginning of this year about why she started her TikTok, Stacey told the Chronicle Live: “I never in a million years thought this would happen to me, but it can happen to anybody.

“I started it because I felt unbelievably alone when I was diagnosed and I didn’t want anybody else to feel that way. Now I’ve had thousands of messages of support, people saying ‘because of you I went to the doctor, they found my cancer early.

“At first it was overwhelming, some of the messages were heartbreaking, but it is great that they’ve got tested, they’ve had a smear test or got something checked and now they have a chance.”

Stacey spent time at St Oswald’s Hospice, but returned home at the end of her life to be with her family.
