Tamborine Mountain Distillery announce move into ‘significantly’ larger venue after 25 years
An award-winning Gold Coast distillery has announced when it will close its doors for the last time at its current location. But fans of the business have been promised it will re-open soon at ‘significantly larger’ new premises.

AN award-winning Gold Coast distillery has decided to find a new home after 25 years.
The Tamborine Mountain distillery has announced they will sell their last bottle of spirits at their current location for the last time on March 31.
However owners promise the business will soon open at a new location that is “significantly” larger at 10-14 MacDonnell Road.

Founders Michael Ward and Alla Ward sold their existing Beacon Road property in January to Shumei Hou and Gordon Chalmers.
“We are really excited about the potential of a much larger renovated building,” they said.

“There will be a beautiful tasting room, larger museum, a great undercover area and an outdoor rainforest area.
“We will certainly be keeping the old world charm that has always defined the Tamborine Mountain Distillery.”
Tamborine Mountain Distillery has won more than 300 international awards for their manufacturing more than 80 boutique liqueurs and spirits over the last 25 years.
