A SWEET tooth’s dream is gorging on chocolate bars, cookies and banana bread and not getting fat.
Gold Coast nutrition experts Peter Andros and Robby Rafidi have made it possible with their Burleigh-based company Infnite Nutrition.
The pair has also called out “health food” that they claim is not actually healthy.
“Most protein is inflammatory and toxic sweeteners even more so, so we went with a vegan protein and birch bark sap as a natural sweetener,” Mr Andros said.
“We added a probiotic in there and an enzyme created by the professor that developed an exclusive human digestive enzyme just for us.”
The professor, whose identity Mr Andros was tight-lipped about, created the enzyme so consumers absorbed the maximum amount of nutritional goodness from every Infnite product.
“With protein bars and shakes you’re not getting even 50 per cent of the nutrients because your gut can’t break it down properly,” Mr Andros said.
“So by putting a digestive in with the protein means up to 90 per cent of the nutrients are absorbed.
Infnite has been selling product by the pallet and approached by a major airline and the Mantra Group.
Mr Andros attributed their success to the taste and the fact that their products – which include cookies, protein balls, banana bread and chocolate-covered nuts – were for the whole family.
“We have products that are good for kids, good for people who are dieting, good for people looking to build muscle – we’ve thought of everything.”
Infnite is available at various Gold Coast businesses including EMF Fitness Centres and Brio Emporium in Broadbeach, or sample packs are available to order online.
