A popular American influencer who once bragged about earning earned almost $550,000-a-month selling X-rated content has been slammed after moaning about not getting free entry to a festival this weekend.

Tara Lynn, best known as Taraswrld by fans, has over 5 million followers on TikTok where she regularly documents her lavish lifestyle.

But despite the 25-year-old previously claiming she rakes in $US 350,000-a-month (almost $550,000 Australian Dollars) on a well-known subscription site used by porn stars and sex workers, it seems Lynn is not immune to the lure of a freebie.

The OnlyFans worker recently posted a video titled, “whiny influencer rant”, in which she complained about the work she had done in an unsuccessful attempt to secure free tickets to Stagecoach, a country music festival being held in California between April 25 and April 27.

However, Lynn’s gripe didn’t land well with social media users, as many pointed out she could just “buy them” herself.

“Listen, if you had the tools to go to festivals for free, you would use them to the best of your ability as well, OK?” she states, before explaining she has “reached out to close to 100 hundred brands” in the lead up to the event in a bid to secure a deal.

“I have different pitches for everyone, I don’t just copy and paste the same message... I customise it to them, I come up with different ideas,” she continued.

“So it takes a long time, I’ve been working really hard at this because festivals are expensive.”

Lynn then suggested that because of her X-rated work, securing a brand deal is harder, stating: “I don’t get sh*t handed to me, a lot of the influencers, brands are just in their DMs, I don’t get that. I have to reach out myself and beg, and I get rejected a lot.”

The TikTok star then got to the point of her “rant”, which was that she’d actually had two brands come back and state they wanted to work with her, but both had since ghosted just days out from the event.

“I’m so beyond frustrated because Stagecoach is just days, I’m leaving tomorrow,” she explained.

“I don’t know what to do. We’ve sent like two emails a day since last Tuesday, I’ve just DM’d them on Instagram, and pointed out that all the AirBnBs are booked up now and they are so expensive.

“Me and my bestie already have our outfits, we’re so excited, I just don’t know what to do.”

Many were quick to respond, telling Lynn to “just buy a ticket” as her rant was “out of touch”.

“You’re in front of your mansion in LA. We can’t afford eggs babe,” one remarked.

“Tara didn’t you spend over $10k on multiple Harry styles pit tickets,” another said, noting some of her most viral videos.

As one declared: “Tara, I [love heart emoji] ️you and I will continue to love you, but people can’t afford food. You’re complaining about not getting a free ride to a festival that you can afford to go to on your own. This is out of touch.”

“Wow girlie this was OUT OF TOUCHHHHH,” agreed someone else.

“Girl... I can’t even afford a prom dress for my child, you’ll be OK...” mused another.

Meanwhile someone else wrote: “How do you expect normal people with jobs to go? THEY PAY.”

“Try working a real job, then you’d have something to complain about,” snorted another.

In fact, the backlash was so huge, some content creators posted their own videos addressing Lynn’s meltdown – prompting the OnlyFans star to eventually respond.

“I just woke up, why are people like, ‘urgh rich people problems?’” she said,

“Also I find it so funny when people are like, ‘You make $350,000-a-month, just click purchase on whatever you want’, ‘How dare you try to get something for free’.”

She went on to claim that she no longer makes that much money on her adult content.

“That was years ago when OF was my priority, it’s no longer my priority, I don’t make that anymore,” Lynn shared.

“A lot of my money is tied up in my house, my business, because I’m smart.”

The follow up video didn’t have the desired effect, with Lynn’s words further adding fuel to the fire with some.

However others agree, arguing that “rich people don’t stay rich if they spend it all”.
