Two men bitten by snakes in the same hour on Gold Coast

PARAMEDICS have transported two men to hospital after they were bitten by snakes in two separate incidents on the Gold Coast.

TWO men have been transported to Gold Coast University Hosptial after being bitten by snakes in separate incidents across the Gold Coast overnight.

The first incident was in Main Beach on SeaWorld Drive at 8.30pm.

The man was bitten on the foot and did not show any symptoms.

He was transported by paramedics to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition as a precaution.

Just half an hour later, a second man was bitten on the leg by a snake in Southport on Everest Drive.

He was taken to hospital in a stable condition.
