Animals for adoption at Animal Welfare League of Queensland, Gold Coast

Meet Benji. This handsome fella is king of his domain and knows exactly what he wants in life — eg. pats, as he hunkers down next to you. Are you ready to open your heart to this homeless cat — or perhaps one of his other abandoned friends?

ID: 20604

Ginger tabby — Domestic Short Hair

Male — 11 years 10 Months

$50.00

At almost 12 years old Benji is one of the stars here at the AWLQ Gold Coast Rehoming

Centre because he knows his boundaries and lets you know what works for him. None of

this picking up and carrying around for Benji, no, he prefers to find you, nestle next to you

and then enjoy being patted while by your side. Benji is seeking a quieter home with no

other cats or children, where he can appreciate the sunshine from the safety of indoors

while feeling loved by the humans around him.

POSSUM

Black and white — American Staffy Mix

Female — 1 Year 1 Week

$315.00

Possum is a dog looking for an active family to live with as her forever home. Full of energy

and personality Possum will want to be included in all the family activities and outings in

addition to getting twice daily walks and enjoying enrichment play in the backyard. Possum

needs an experienced dog owner to help her with socialisation at dog parks as she get a

little bit overwhelmed.

White and blue — Domestic Short Hair

Female — 2 years 2 Months

$120.00

Bubbles is a young at heart and young in spirit companion cat who is looking for a family to

call her own. Sweeter than a piece of candy, Bubbles wants to be able to share herself and

her love around a whole family. Adaptable and friendly Bubbles is good with other cats, so

if you have an existing feline, Bubble would happily share your home.

MARLEE

ID: 81842

Tan and white — Australian Kelpie x Mastiff

Female — 1 year 1 Month

$315.00

Marlee has found her way to the AWLQ Gold Coast Rehoming Centre from a rural pound

and with a little tender loving care she is now ready to find her new forever home. Social

with other dogs, Marlee would suit a family with an existing dog who can buddy up with

Marlee and introduce her to life on the Gold Coast and reassure her when she needs it.

Marlee will bond closely with the humans in her new family, so she will need to be included

in a life indoors and be offered cuddle time at night. If you would like to meet Marlee,

please bring your existing dog and she will be excited to greet you.

SIMBA

ID: 80972

Brown Tabby — Domestic Short Hair

Male — 4 Years 7 Months

$120.00

Simba is a handsome companion cat who is seeking a forever home that will take him away

from the AWLQ Gold Coast shelter which he is finding a little noisy. Currently this super

friendly and affectionate boy likes playing hide (under beds and linen) while he waits for

people to seek him out for his affections. Simba is open to all pats and cuddles and is trying

to be his confident best, but to truly shine and relax he needs a family to welcome him into

their home.

Benji and his friends have all been vet checked and desexed.

Please call AWLQ on 07 5509 9000 to arrange a meeting or search Animal Welfare League Queensland website to see all the animals which are available for adoption.
