While weddings usually bring great joy, *Sally ended up biting off much more than she could chew when she decided her special day needed to have a "kid vibe".
The story begins with her dismayed husband *Tim, making it clear to his bride-to-be *Sally, that it was a terrible idea.
Nevertheless, she insisted on bringing their children to the couple's wedding, only to deeply regret it later.
"While planning the wedding I made it clear how I'd like a kid-free wedding - but my wife was against it because she loves the vibes kids bring to weddings," Tim shared on Reddit.
However it was so important to Sally to have children at the wedding that the couple ended up compromising and setting an age limit of 10 and above.
But Sally refused to budge when it came to her own kids’ attendance; a two-year-old and a six-month-old.
"She wanted to bring our kids as well but I told her I'm against that because who's going to take care of them," Tim said.
"She said our parents will help us out and I told her I am not going to ask my parents to babysit instead of having fun at my wedding."

Bride looked after the kids all night at her wedding
Sally's solution to the problem was to have her parents help out with the kids, but that didn't go to plan as they got distracted with the celebrations.
"My wife barely danced and got up at all because she was caring for the kids and running after them the entire time," Tim said.
"She complained how everyone else enjoyed her wedding but her as a bride didn't even get to dance more than twice."

The groom scolded his wife for complaining
Tim and his family had absolutely no sympathy for poor Sally.
"I told her it's her fault and she shouldn't bring the kids in the first place especially the two-year-old because she was the one causing the most trouble during the wedding running around the whole time," Tim said.
“My parents also scolded her and told her she's very entitled for expecting them to babysit the kids while they were having fun at their only son's wedding.”

Groom didn’t want a babysitter at the wedding
The groom stirred controversy on Reddit by saying the only way he would agree to hire a babysitter was if his wife agreed to leave the kids at home.
“I didn't want a babysitter at the wedding. The reason is that I didn't want a stranger at my wedding," he said.
“She could communicate better with her friends and family to help her out if having the kids there was that important to her and she also wanted to enjoy herself."
