The owner of Labradors Nacho and Ramen is a patient woman.
Her Instagram account is full of photos of her beloved pups going on outings, hanging out with other Labradors and generally being delightful.
But recently the woman posted a video of a young neighbour boy approaching her dog to say hello.
The footage was captured by a security camera facing the woman’s back gate where she and the dogs typically enter after a walk. In the video, a neighbour boy who looks about four years old came and asked to pat Nacho.
“Nacho sit. Nacho sit,” the woman was heard saying. The video combined audio recording with captions explaining what was happening.
“I told the kid where to touch Nacho and showed him how to pat a dog,” she wrote.
“There, you want to touch him? You can touch him here, on the side.” The boy patted Nacho for a second, then pinched the skin on his head.

Woman shares video of neighbour boy trying to hurt pet dog
The woman was patient and tried to teach the little boy. “No, just like this. Like this,” she said calmly.
The boy squeezed the dog on the sides of his body. Suddenly the boy squealed and laughed.
“He thought stepping on Nacho’s tail is funny,” she wrote, clearly frustrated. “I obviously had to advocate for my dog and pushed the kid gently away.”
“Ok, we’re going now,” she said to the boy. “No, you cannot come in. You cannot come in.”
As she tried to close the gate, the little boy threw his body against it, trying to push in.
“I had to push him away gently so he didn’t get crushed by the gate,” she wrote.
The boy lingered a few moments in front of the shut gate before leaving.

Neighbour boy with disability allowed to roam street
This wasn’t an isolated incident. The little boy often turned up in the street and came to see the dogs and their owners.
In another post, the woman shared a video showing the little boy running up to their car and trying to climb in.
“The parents said he’s got a learning disability but that’s even more reason to keep him supervised at all times, not trespassing on other people’s property, climbing into stranger’s cars, or walking in the middle of the road,” she captioned the video on Instagram.
