Moana Hope on motherhood, equality and the joy of caring for her sister

Moana Hope started playing AFL as a seven-year-old, and with no girls league to play in, she started playing senior women’s football at just thirteen. She went on to play professionally in the AFL Women’s league for three years, and competed in Survivor and Survivor All Stars. One of 14 siblings she is the full-time carer for younger sister Lavinia, who has a rare neurological disorder. She recently married model Isabella Carlstrom and they had their first child, a little girl via IVF at the end of last year. She opens up about juggling work and broken sleep, giving back and what she wants her daughter to know about equality.
