A mum has called out the secret WhatsApp chats amongst other parents in her class, from which she's excluded - but are often discussed in front of her.
The 40-year-old, who is known as @paleandinteresting, shared a clip about the issue.
She revealed that there is a WhatsApp group at her kids' school called "Mums Day/Night Out", which she is not part of - but other mums who are don't hide it.
The mum felt that it the group was giving "Mean Girl energy" as it wasn't open to all parents in the class, but it's openly discussed amongst those who are in it.

The mum explained that there are about 60 parents across two classrooms, and that they are in their separate WhatsApp groups.
However, the "Mums Day/Night Out" group is separate to this, with only certain mums invited to join.
She says she often hears parents shouting to each other things like “are you guys coming to that on Saturday” across the playground.
The creator also explained that only the mums who have set up the group chat decide who goes into the group. While she says she's “not bothered,” what “really upsets” her is that there are other mums on who will feel hurt by the exclusion.
In the video the creator adds further context, explaining that the group talks about days and nights out, whether they are taking their kids somewhere, if any of the mums want company for nights in, bingo nights, wine nights, and how some of them even went on a ski trip together.
Which is all fine, but they way it's done so openly is what this mum takes exception to, and is why she's begun to keep to herself.
The TikTok has been viewed hundreds of thousands of times and has attracted thousands of comments.
One viewer asked: “Why are you so triggered? You stink of jealousy. It isn't good luck tbh.”
Another added: “You're adults. Some people will be better friends than others; we shouldn't, as adults, feel obliged to spend time with people we don't get on with.”
To which the mum replied: “It's not possible for 30-40 people to be close friends from a pool of about 60.”
But other mums could see her perspective, with some even sharing they felt similarly. For example, this viewer wrote, "You've dodged a bullet there. These groups are toxic and to be avoided like the plague.”
Another said reasonably: "I was invited into a mum group for a night out. Why is it an issue? I don’t think it’s done maliciously; some mums do just get on really well with each other and become genuine friends.”
Either way, the lesson is if you're not comfortable with something, you don't need it in your life.
