Kylie Jenner applauded for sharing ‘relatable’ post-partum body photo

Kylie Jenner has shared an “unexpected” photo with millions of followers that has left many thanking the star for being “raw” and “relatable”.

Kylie Jenner is being praised online after sharing a “real” photo of her body after giving birth to her son last month.

The 24-year-old beauty mogul has been unusually candid about the realities of welcoming her second child with partner Travis Scott since his arrival on February 2.

She recently opened up on Instagram about the pressures mums face to get “back” to their pre-baby selves both physically and mentally.

Now a “raw” image of the reality star’s post-partum tummy has struck a chord with fans.

The touching black and white snap shows her little boy – who Kylie recently announced was no longer named Wolf – with his tiny feet placed against her tummy.

Fellow mums were quick to commend the photo, taken from a 10-minute video Kylie shared dedicated to his birth, declaring they “love it” in a Reddit thread dedicated to the topic.

“As a mummy, I love the rawness of this picture. The stretched skin, the post-partum tummy, the little extra weight. I just love it,” one said.

“He is beautiful, truly. before and after surgery. she didn’t have to share these moments and the fact that she chose to is so generous,” another stated.

“For women who have such big platforms, this is the type of content we need from them! I love this so much!” one mum agreed.

While one said: “Love this. Would have never expected it from her. Wow.”

“I love that she posted this. Normalising normal bodies,” another wrote.

Many more noted the “relatable” photo was a stark contrast to her usual snaps which often show her picture perfect.

Last week, Kylie surprised her 320 million followers when she shared a clip of herself walking on a treadmill.

As she gently walked, she opened up about how she was coping since welcoming her son.

“This experience for me personally has been a little harder than with my daughter,” she said.

“It’s not easy mentally, physically, spiritually, it’s just crazy.”

She also went on to show her support for other mums feeling pressure over how they look after giving birth.

“I didn’t just want to get back to life without saying that because I think we can look on the internet – for other mums going through it right now – we can go on the internet, and it might look a lot easier for other people, and put the pressure on us, but it hasn’t been easy for me either. It’s been hard.”

She finished by saying: “It’s OK not to be OK.”

On Monday, Kylie revealed their son is no longer named Wolf via her Instagram Story.

“FYI our sons name isn’t Wolf anymore,” she wrote.

“We just really didn’t feel like it was him.

“Just wanted to share because I keep seeing Wolf everywhere.”
