PACIFIC Fair has launched the world’s first fashion-branded podcast hosted by a shopping centre.
The luxe Gold Coast centre will release regular episodes of its podcast, ‘Two girls and nothing to wear’ on the podcasts app.
Hosted by fashion commentator Yvette Hardy and lawyer Violet Atkinson, girlfriend of Olympic swimmer Cameron McEvoy, episodes will feature guests like PR queen Roxy Jacenko.
“Pacific Fair is a Gold Coast Institution that I grew up with and love,” Ms Atkinson said.
“My style has evolved over the years from surfy and sporty, to uni student, to lawyer with a keen interest in Australian and high-end labels and I am looking forward to discussing trends and all things fashion and beauty with our listeners on the show.”
Pacific Fair’s senior marketing manager, Kate Dixon, said the podcast was a global-first.
“We’re very excited to launch a world first initiative. Podcasts are a great way for us to connect to our shoppers and have a real conversation about events, fashion and celebrity.”
