The new Maritimo X60 was unveiled for the first time at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show and has been billed as a “totally new era” in sport yacht design because it includes an aft cabin at water-level, a feature usually seen in 100-foot long superyachts.

Maritimo lead designer Tom Barry-Cotter said the cabin at the rear of the boat was set to generate interest around the world because it could be a party area, bedroom or a garage for a tender boat, among other uses.

“(It’s) completely unique and is resonating with buyers” Mr Barry-Cotter said.
