New Ferrari showroom open in Southport “a commitment” to the Gold Coast

More and more women are becoming part of the Ferrari family as the Gold Coast’s first showroom opens in Southport. Here’s the reason behind it.

Dealer principal of Ferrari Gold Coast Rebecca Frizelle says more and more women are becoming part of the Ferrari family, particularly locally as the brand opens its opulent new showroom on the Coast.

The luxury showroom which launched in Southport yesterday is set to build on the Gold Coast’s voracious appetite for sports cars.

The glitter strip alone accounts for more than 45 per cent of the state’s Ferrari sales.

Ms Frizelle said the brand fit into the uniquely luxurious Gold Coast lifestyle.

“I think people on the Gold Coast appreciate the quality, design and style,” she said.

“Ferrari is a timeless classic, and its owners understand performance.

“We are extremely proud to have been appointed the 184th dealer in the world — a great outcome for Southport and the Gold Coast.”

The new location marks an expansion from six to nine showrooms across the country, coming after the Gold Coast has enjoyed record sales in the last few years.

Sports car fanatic Marie Nakic is already ready to take home her own blue beauty, and confessed she’s in love with “everything Italian”.

“I also love the fact that we will now have our own Ferrari dealership on the Gold Coast,” she said.

“It will make everything related to the car so much more convenient, and having the dealership only 15 minutes from my office will enhance the experience for me.”
