Mum's Maccas dessert hack with soft serve and fries has people divided

If you like the combo of fries and soft serve, then this 'party' hack is for you. For the rest of you, try not to throw up watching the video.

There are two types of people in the world - those who love dipping their salty McDonald's fries into soft serve and those who think it's bloody gross. 

If you're the psychopath who falls into the first category, then you're going to love this 'party' hack two mums have come up with. 

TikTok mums Janelle and Kate have posted a video of their ultimate Maccas soft serve hack involving six soft serve cones and a few extra toppings to create the best treat there ever was.

Well, according to them anyway coz the internet doesn't completely agree.

Mum's Maccas hack makes the perfect treat

Posting from the car (because they couldn't wait to get stuck into it), the mums place each soft serve gone upside down into a plastic container before grabbing a spoon and mashing the cones into the ice cream. 

"It does get a little messy in the car but it's worth it," one of the mums declares.

"You want to smash these up to kind of get a crunchy bite into every bite."

They then add a few extra toppings, including three McCafe chocolate chip cookies, some chocolate topping (ordered separately to the ice cream) and some BYO sprinkles. 

The cookies are mashed into the mixture before adding the topping and sprinkles. 

"It's a party!" they cheer as they gear up for the grand finale and the whole reason for the video.

The mums then bring out the french fries to dip into the ice cream mixture. 

"Oh my gosh, this is so perfect," they declare, also adding it's the "sweet and salty" mixture that makes their Maccas hack so delicious. 

Sadly, not everyone agreed with that statement. While the video has amassed 9.8 million views, TikTok viewers were divided over the hack. 

"At no point did I know where this was going but I'm here for it," one inspired viewer wrote. 

"I'm riding in THE WRONG CAR!" another shared. 

Others added: "This is amazing!", "I wanna do this!" and "Need this NOW!"

Not everyone is a fan of the soft serve hack

But things got a little divisive when they introduced the french fries to the video. 

"You lost me at French Fries," one person commented. 

"I was 100% on board until the French Fries came in," another agreed. 

Meanwhile, others weren't keen on the whole deconstructed dessert theme. 

"No! The fun went out when you smashed the cone!"
