The Gold Coast is bursting at the seams with fashion icons who know how to style an outfit to perfection.
The Bulletin has listed their top 22 fashion icons on the Coast, what they wear, where they buy it and why they love it.
Riley Hemson – @healthychick101

“The latest trends definitely inspire what I wear,” she said.
“I love showing off my curves and picking up pieces that are comfortable and versatile.”
Ms Hemson said she her go-to outfit was activewear but if she was going out on an occasion she likes wearing block colours.
“Nothing beats a pair of baggy jeans, paired with a crop top and a pop of colour with accessories,” she said.
Ms Hemson said she was disappointed in the lack of diversity and size ranges on the Gold Coast but tends to shop at Showpo and Princess Polly.
“Staple and Hue are amazing for basics and I have been loving the prints at Miaou,” she said.
“I find it really hard to relate to anyone on the Gold Coast because I’ve never seen anyone in my size in the fashion industry.
“I feel inspired by Paloma Elesser and Leslie Sidora who are two incredible curve models in the US.”

“My friends and like minded people around me keep me feeling inspired,” she said.
“I tend to lean toward super colourful and fun pieces of clothing.
“I feel like you can easily pick up on my mood for the day based off of the colours im wearing.
“I also love to imagine myself dancing in a room of people and think about what my ultimate showstopping outfit would be.”
She said she will always go for the sustainable option when buying clothes and said Eeyo, House of Sunny, Hosbjerg, Dyspnea, Poppy Lissiman, WithJean and HerPony are some of her favourites.
“I lean towards a lot of funky vintage type pieces and emerging designers/brands,” Ms Johnston said.
“I tend to love a good high-waisted straight leg pant in all sorts of prints and colours.
“I love a good bralette too, super versatile to style and good for the summer time.”

“Drag for me really is just about the over extravagant and sparkly garments or sometimes just gorgeous denim piece.
