James Charles makeup star returns to Gold Coast in May 2019

Just days after YouTube makeup megastar and guru James Charles revealed he was opening his first-ever store right here on the Gold Coast, he has now announced the dates he will return to the city.

JAMES Charles has announced he’s returning to the Gold Coast.

The 19-year-old YouTube and Instagram beauty guru from the US will be coming back one year after fell “in love” with Australia on his first trip Down Under.

His latest announcement comes days after he revealed he would be opening his first ever store called Sisters Pop Up Shop.

“The Gold Coast is one of my favourite cities I’ve ever been to,” he said.

“Everyone made me feel so welcome and the Aussie Sisters are some of the most supportive in the world.”

James, — who has 15.8 million Instagram followers — is returning thanks to PR star and managing director of Spin&Co Sam Mangan who was by his side during his Australian tour last year.

“I did all of the tours which was his first show ever,” he said.

“We became friends and we’ve worked together since.

“I’ve worked with a lot of celebrities around the world but I can tell you James is one of the most down to earth, and hard working professional you’ll find.

“I’m super excited, one, to work with James again, but also to bring another world-first not just to Australia, but more importantly to Pacific Fair on the Gold Coast.”

Unfortunately James won’t be here for the opening of his store on May 3.

James will be on the Gold Coast on May 11 and 12 for the Pacific Fair Beauty weekend.

YOUTUBE’S MAKE-UP MEGASTAR JAMES CHARLES COMING TO PACIFIC FAIR ON THE GOLD COAST

Pacific Fairs senior marketing manager Kate Halpin said they are thrilled to be teaming up with the YouTube star.

“We had such a phenomenal response to his visit last year,” she said.

“(He’s) one of the nicest and most down to earth people we’ve worked with, we simply had to have him back.

“Pacific Fair has become the unofficial home of beauty in Australia and being able to announce today that James, the world’s most followed beauty influencer, is returning to Beauty Weekend, is really exciting.”

James said he’s equally excited with his return to the Gold Coast.

“My Pac Fair meet and greet last year was unforgettable so it made perfect sense to have my first ever Sisters Pop Up Shop there,” he said.
