"This show is accurate in so many ways," a mum wrote after seeing the very mundane yet relatable scene.

Scrolling on Instagram can feel like an endless sea of expectations, polished feeds and picture-perfect lives.

It can make us think that we’re not good enough, not doing enough and when we are doing enough, we’re not doing it right…it’s exhausting.

But thankfully, there’s a breath of fresh air in the form of… Bluey

Yep, everyone’s favourite Aussie cartoon is not only great for the kiddos, but for its realistic portrayal of family life.

Mum guilt, be gone!

There’s one particular scene that’s been going viral recently for depicting the inevitable clutter that accumulates in our lives with young children.

"Their backseat looks like ours"

In one scene, sisters Bluey and Bingo are sitting in the back seat of the car on the way to their nanna’s house, mischief written all over their faces.

But fans are more focused on the state of the family car, which is full of crumbs, crayons, a colouring book and a half-used sticker sheet.

There are also stickers stuck onto the seats and doors, a water bottle dumped near Bingo and a half-eaten sandwich sitting on the seat between the pair.

Cue the collective nodding from parents everywhere.

One mum who felt particularly seen took to the Facebook group ‘Mum Strife’ to share her thoughts.

She wrote: “'As a mum of three, ages one-eight, I really appreciate the intention that goes into helping Bandit and Chilli’s home look lived in.

“But then I see their backseat looks like ours too. In one episode I saw dirty laundry strewn about the laundry room and a plate of leftover blueberries under the sofa.”

She then says that these details make the show “healing, teaching and affirming” for parents.

"This show is so real"

And commenters couldn’t agree more, with the post racking up over 40,000 likes.

"Seeing the backseat of the car is what made me know I loved this show," one parent wrote.

Another shared, "I watch this show with my daughter. It's the most authentic I've ever seen a family portrayed and I love it for that."

And the appreciation didn't stop there as even more parents chimed in.

"This show is accurate in so many ways and depicts positive parenting and shows us it’s okay to make mistakes and change our behaviour," commented another fan.

Then one parent concluded, "This show is so real. We’ve all found a treasure trove of things cleaning the backseat of our cars.”
