‘Gut instinct’: Woman’s epic revenge at cheating girlfriend

A woman has hatched a hilarious plan to get back at her girlfriend, after finding out she was cheating on her.

Woman divides internet after revenge plot

A woman got back at her cheating ex in a very sparkly way.

And now a video of the British woman’s glitter revenge has had nearly six million views on TikTok.

Nicole Walker, from Manchester, England, said she grew suspicious of her partner – who she gave the alias Vera – eventually managing to confirm her suspicions.

“I just had this gut instinct that she’d done something behind my back,” Ms Walker said.

“I made up that one of her friends had told me the truth and she went, ‘Which friend? How did you find out?’

“We used to stay together every night but then she’d be off for three nights at a time. It was different; it was a bit off.”

Following Vera’s confession, Ms Walker and a friend met at Nandos, where they hatched their revenge plot.

“I don’t know where I got the idea from. I must have seen it online somewhere,” Ms Walker said.

The pair went to the craft store, where Ms Walker found the glitter aisle, with her friend encouraging her to “do it”.

Ms Walker went to her ex’s apartment, knowing she wouldn’t be home.

Ms Walker then filmed herself throwing handfuls of glitter all over Vera’s apartment. Glitter is well-known by avid crafters for getting into every nook and cranny of a space – and nearly impossible to clean up.

“I put the glitter everywhere – in the kitchen drawers, in the fridge, in the freezer. I put it all in her bed, because that’s the worst,” Ms Walker said.

“I put it in all the worst places you can imagine. Glitter’s hard to clean up.

“I sent her the video when I originally did it. She was crying her eyes out, she was getting really upset.”

Ms Walker then revealed that she and Vera managed to reconcile and get back together.

“We got back together within the next two weeks. She apologised to me but I did say I let my anger get the (better) of me,” Ms Walker said.

“I did say she deserved it though.”

Ms Walker said several people commented on TikTok about other tough spots she missed in her glitter attack.

“People have been sticking up for me on TikTok. They were telling me to do other things – to put glitter in the shoes,” Ms Walker said.

“She never told me how long it took to clean up. I think her mum might have had to go round to help her.”

Glitter has become a popular tool as an annoying, but ultimately harmless, way to get revenge on an ex, with dozens taking to TikTok to share their own versions of the tactic.
