Gold Coast Weather: Rain to dampen the week heading to Easter
Not even the Easter bunny can keep wet weather at bay as the Gold Coast settles into days of rain, with forecasters predicting chances of showers every day this week.

GOLD Coasters made the most of the sunshine yesterday ahead of the gloomy weather predicted for the city from today.
Weatherzone metrologist Drew Casper-Richardson said a fairly wet week looked likely.
“There’s a chance of showers pretty much every day,” he said.
“Most days there will probably only be a few millimetres but potentially it will be getting wetter later in the week.”

Heading into Easter things aren’t great with up to 15mm forecast for Friday and Saturday.
An onshore pattern will keep temperatures consistent with tops of 25C to 27C expected. Minimums are forecast for 16 to 18 degrees.
The Gold Coast has received 33.6mm of rain so far this month, which is already above the 27.8mm recorded last April.
