“Elizabeth is my first name and Anna came from Katie’s mum,” Mrs Tate said.
“It’s been a really exciting time for the family and I have really enjoyed welcoming her.
“She’s got dark hair and looks more like David.”
Cr Tate said his family was ‘very blessed’.
“At a recent council meeting I was told that the city’s population had just gone over 600,000 and I told them I knew exactly when it happened — it was when Anna Elisabeth was born,” he said.
“I tag her as the Gold Coast’s 600,000th person.”
