Gold Coast car crash: 60-year-old man allegedly crashed ute into parked car on driveway

A 60-year-old man has been taken into custody after allegedly crashing his ute into the back of a sedan parked in a Gold Coast driveway.

A 60-year-old man has been taken into custody after allegedly crashing his ute into the back of a sedan parked in a Gold Coast driveway.

Around 12.30pm today, a man was driving along Greenacre Drive when the car collided with the back of another car.

It is understood he skidded over grass and hit a brick letterbox before smashing into the back of the car, which then crashed into a garage door.

It’s believed the man was drink driving.

He has not been charged.

The man was taken to hospital after the incident under police custody.

No one was injured during the incident.
