The Gold Coast knows how to party and ring in a new year - with a smorgasbord of events on offer to bring in 2021.

From a new nightclub launch night, to degustation dinners, fun food and beverage packages, cheaper hotel and tavern parties plus a masquerade ball, there are choices aplenty.

Tickets range from $30 entry fees to $350 for food and drink packages depending on the event, with many across the city having sold out or close to it.

Nineteen at the Star restaurant and bar partner Jackie Cross said the restaurant was already fully booked and the bar area was sold out.

“Everyone is getting organised this year and really excited to celebrate the start of 2021,” she said.

“It looks like we are going to be really busy and I am glad we can now dance inside too.”

Mrs Cross said if the weather was clearing up leading into New Year’s Eve, they would release 100 more tickets for the bar area - and walk ups were welcome on the night.

“We are holding out for some sunny weather on the day,” she said.

Events the length of the city include the relaunch night of popular Broadbeach nightclub Love which is having its soft invite-only opening the night before New Year’s Eve.

BROADBEACH

GARDEN KITCHEN & BAR, THE STAR GOLD COAST
