A woman who loves wearing slip dresses has copped wild criticism for wearing her slinky lace numbers, often worn in bed, outside.

A woman who loves wearing slip dresses has hit back at people who claim they belong in the bedroom – not out in public.

Sierra Cannon, who lives in New York, has shared multiple videos showing off her lacy dress collection, prompting a few negative comments from judgmental viewers.

But the fashion lover has since decided to clap back at trolls, claiming she can wear whatever she wants.

“The old ladies telling me slip dresses should only be worn in the bedroom but they are just jealous I look cute wearing them in public,” she said in a video on TikTok.

In the clip, Cannon was wearing a white silky number that had a see-through lace panel across the stomach and a thigh-high split, The Sun reports.

Posing in front of the camera, the social media user was clearly unfazed by the barrage of nasty comments.

The video went quickly viral with over 370k views, and people were quick to share their thoughts in the comments.

Many claimed they agreed Cannon should give it a rest from wearing the figure-hugging dresses out in public.

“This is a great slip dress. For home. You can try another one in public,” one penned.

“I really don’t like agreeing with old people... but...” another remarked.

While a third replied: “I mean you’re stunning and this dress is fabulous but I see where they’re coming from. Things you wear to bed look a bit weird outside of the bedroom.”

In another video posted to her account @sierracannon, the young woman responded to a critic who claimed it wasn’t even a slip dress.

“This isn’t a slip dress it’s literally a nightgown lol,” they quipped.

In response, Cannon shared a video modelling all of the different “nightgowns” she wears outside of the house.

Despite some mean comments, many people loved the fashion fan’s risque outfits.

One person wrote: “The black lace was made for you babe.”

Another commented: “Style icon.”

“THEY ALL LOOK SO GOOD ON U,” penned a third.
