Lara Worthington showed off her incredible figure as she posed in a yellow two-piece during a beachside shoot after returning to Sydney recently.

She’s spent the last few years living in the United States with her actor husband, but Lara Worthington looked right at home during a beach photo shoot in her home city.

The 33-year-old looked incredible as she posed up a storm in a yellow bikini on a Sydney beach last month.

Lara, who arrived back in Sydney with husband Sam Worthington and their three kids in January, showed off her toned and tanned figure while her signature bob was styled in beachy waves.

It was a throwback of sorts for the model-turned-businesswoman, who first rose to fame back in 2006 when she took part in another beach photo shoot.

The then-19-year-old posed in a bikini at Fingal Spit beach and asked: “Where the bloody hell are you?”

The 60-second Tourism Australia advertisement was panned overseas but made Lara a household name in her home country.

Lara and Sam have returned to Australia as the Avatar star is appearing in Sydney Theatre Company’s forthcoming production of Appropriate.

The couple, who married in 2014, share three children together: Rocket, 4, and Racer, 3, and a child born last March whose name they have decided to keep private.

Lara has credited having kids with helping her become more comfortable in her skin after the paparazzi attention she received during her early career made her insecure about how she looked.

“Before I had kids, I was always trying to get skinny or be a certain weight,” she told Marie Claire.

“I feel like my whole early 20s were just so centred on body issues. Having a baby changed my body for the better.

“It’s like my body was meant to have kids, and maybe that’s why I’ve had so many and would happily have more!”

When it comes to exercise Lara revealed last year that she now does pilates as well as her gym workout.

Lara married actor Sam Worthington in 2014.

“I’ve never really done much of that before, I’d been more into the gym and had a trainer,” she told Vogue Australia.

“But when I’m pregnant and I need to calm down a bit, pilates has been really good.”

Lara’s other secret? Bath houses.

“When I’m not pregnant, I’m obsessed with bath houses. Russian, Turkish, everything. That would be one of my goals to open up one here [in Sydney],” she told the magazine.

“There’s so many in New York. When you come out of there like stuff has happened.

“It feels good being scrubbed, like layers of skin come off. I like things that, you know, when you leave, you really feel out of it.”
