Jessica Rowe flaunts fit figure in glam dress while at home

The former TV presenter got a huge response from fans on Instagram, praising her surprise lockdown outfit as “appropriate”.

Jessica Rowe is making the most of Sydney’s two-week lockdown by playing dress-ups — and her fans are loving it.

The former Studio 10 host kicked off the first day of stay-at-home orders by pulling out one of her most dazzling outfits — a fitted, silver sequin dress.

“How are you doing tonight? Hope you’re okay. I’m managing by dressing up in fringes,” she captioned the Instagram post.

The 51-year-old was fully dolled up, flaunting her fit figure in the tight Rebecca Vallance long-sleeve dress, while completing the look with matching Miu Miu closed-toe heels, pink earrings and glamorous makeup.

She posed with her adorable little pooch by her side and a glass, of what appears to be white wine, in her right hand.

Since sharing the snap on Saturday, fans have bombarded the comments section on how great she looks and her handling of lockdown.

“OMG! I wouldn’t normally comment on your posts (because squillions of others do) … but that dress just screams, “screw you lockdown”! Love it!” one follower wrote.

“I feel like this is the most appropriate way to handle lockdown. All the sequins and bubbles,” another wrote.

“Everyone copes with lockdown in different ways. Keep on doing what you do!! Thinking of you all!! From us here in Melbourne!!” added a third, while a fourth said: “You look gorgeous Jess”.

Posting to her Instagram on Wednesday, the former TV presenter and wife of newsreader Peter Overton, also shared another snap of herself all dolled up in a leopard jumpsuit.

This time is was for her 51st birthday.

“All dressed up and staying at home for my 51st birthday! Life is good and I love getting older!” she captioned the picture.

In an interview with news.com.au in 2020, the mother-of-two said when it comes to exercise and training, you will mostly find her in a pilates class twice a week for an hour each session.

“For me, it’s more about mental health. I go with a girlfriend and we have a laugh and try not to fart as we hold our core,” she said with a straight voice before bursting out into laughter.

“There are far wider benefits when you find something that works for you instead of forcing yourself to do something you don’t enjoy or depriving yourself of certain foods. Life is too short.”

She is also a lover of weights training, saying it makes her feel “empowered” and “strong”.
