Inside star-studded Lancôme Bastille Day event in Sydney

The shoe designer made a rare appearance alongside her stepdaughter Willow, Karl Stefanovic’s child with ex-wife Cassandra.

Jasmine Stefanovic turned heads as she posed alongside her 17-year-old stepdaughter at a star-studded event in Sydney on Thursday night.

The 38-year-old wife of Today host Karl Stefanovic wore a glamorous pink outfit to a glamorous Bastille Day party held by French beauty brand Lancôme at The Eveleigh Ballroom.

Willow, Karl’s 17-year-old daughter from his first marriage with ex-wife Cassandra, opted for a pink silk gown.

The pair posed for cameras outside before heading into the new luxury venue from The Grounds to enjoy a three-course meal and an acoustic live performance from Australian singer Vera Blue.

Jesinta Franklin was also in attendance, wearing a flowing patterned gown from designer Fendi to perform her “special guest” duties, taking part in an intimate Q&A with host Ksenija Lukich.

During the chat, the mum-of-two opened up about her struggles during lockdown, telling the 150 guests it really “challenged my happiness”.

“It was probably the hardest period I’ve ever had in my life,” she said, explaining she had to find ways to be happy again.

“It was hard but I think I just simplified everything. On my really bad days I would just think about the things that I was grateful for.

“The health of my children, the health of my family. It really is the simple things that make me happy now.”

TV presenter Kerri-Anne Kennerley was also at the bash wearing a chic black suit with a sparkly silver trim.

While former Miss World Australia Erin Holland stunned in a black and white houndstooth suit.

She was styled by celebrity stylist Donny Galella who revealed Erin’s tailored jacket and skirt were from Mossman.

She also finished her look with a classic Chanel handbag.

There was also a string of reality stars at the event, including former MAFS contestant Jules Robinson and the 2021 Bachelor winners Jimmy Nicholson and Holly Kingston.

Jules went for a chic skirt and white shirt combo with coloured heels, while Holly dazzled in a sequined silver dress.

Several high profile influencers also enjoyed the festivities, hosted to officially launch the brand’s My Lancôme Rewards programs.

Twin sisters Ashley and Olivia Mescia, who have more than 330,000 followers on Instagram, turned heads in skimpy outfits.

The beauty influencers rocked mini skirts and crop tops with puffer jackets to keep them warm in the chilly winter weather.
