Coco Austin posts new swimwear snap amid G-string bikini drama

A mum heavily criticised for wearing micro swimmers at a family water park has proved she doesn’t care what others think with a new photo.

Are women being told to cover up their bodies more?

Coco Austin has the perfect response to the drama surrounding her micro G-string bikini: she’s worn another one.

The famous mum, who is married to American rapper Ice-T, was on holiday in the Bahamas with her husband and their six-year-old daughter Chanel.

But after sharing a series of poolside snaps at Baha Bay Water Park, the 43-year-old was accused of dressing “inappropriately”.

The mum and daughter duo rocked matching pink and blue bikinis on their excursion to the “luxury” water park – though Coco’s bottoms featured a skimpy G-string design that flaunted her butt.

After being brutally slammed for her outfit choice – with some labelling the decision to wear such a revealing cossie in front of kids “disgusting” – Coco doesn’t appear to be letting it wear her down.

The mum-of-one has taken to her socials to share another snap of her and Chanel wearing matching swimmers in the ultimate act of defiance against the trolls.

“Quick Florida stop … #twinning #mommyanddaughter #dynamicduo #matchymatchy,” she captioned the snap which showed the pair on board a private yacht.

This time the adorable duo had swapped their pink and blue bikinis for a leopard print one piece with a cut-out across the stomach.

They also had matching braids cascading down their shoulders, a detail many declared was “too cute”.

“Chanel is so cute. I love your matching swimsuits,” one mum wrote.

“You guys are the cutest! Having a little mini is the best!” another said.

Reaction to their previous bikini photo however hadn’t been so warm, with many of Coco’s three million followers getting riled up over the fact there were other children nearby.

“Your bathing suit is soooo NOT appropriate for a water park,” one of Coco’s three million followers wrote.

“So I gotta ask, don’t you ever feel like maybe at a kid-friendly place a G-string is inappropriate? Just curious if you ever feel like that,” another said.

While one declared: “INAPPROPRIATE for a water park.”

The outrage continued, with others joining the pile-on when Coco posted another series of snaps, explaining that Ice-T had turned into her “paparazzi”.

“It’s disgusting that’s what you think is acceptable to wear around children,” one said.

“Girl put some clothes on when your child is around, smh [shaking my head],” another agreed.

And anther person said: “You’re at a water park in front of lots of kids dressed like that!”

It doesn’t appear Coco broke any water park rules with her skimpy outfit.

According to the Baha Bay Water Park’s website, attendees are required to adhere to a dress code that states swimsuits, pool attire and similar apparel are all acceptable clothing.

It does not state G-strings are not allowed.

Many of her followers pointed out she wasn’t doing anything wrong, leaping to her defence.

“She’s in a bikini in the Bahamas. Why should she have to adjust her clothing because there are kids?” one wrote.

“She’s in a two-piece, not naked,” another added.

As a third posted: “If you don’t like seeing her a**, then don’t look at it. She’s not hurting anyone.”

The famous mum is sadly no stranger to having her parenting skills criticised by strangers, with Coco and Ice-T copping it for allowing the six-year-old to use a stroller last week.

Her parenting skills were also criticised as a result of this holiday photo too. Picture:

Recently Queensland mum Sophie Guidolin endured a similar backlash when she shared a bikini photo posing alongside her son Kai, 15 in April.

The 32-year-old mother-of-four, who is the founder of leading online health and fitness program The Bod, shared a photo of herself wearing a green leopard print bikini while hugging the teen.

However, some of her half a million followers had a “problem” with the photo saying it was “too sexualised”.

Sophie, who also has six-year-old twins as well another son aged 14, hit back, imploring people “stop sexualising female bodies”.
