By now it would be easy to assume we had seen all the skimpy swimsuit styles the fashion world had to offer.
But supermodel Candice Swanepoel has taken the racy trend to the next level, looking incredible in a tiny black bikini at the beach over the weekend.
The 33-year-old made the most of the Northern Hemisphere sunshine, hitting the beach in Miami with her friend and fellow model Martha Graeff.
Candice wore a bikini from her swimwear line Tropic Of C, wearing the label’s $112 ruched Libra top and matching $98 Praia bottoms.
The former Victoria’s Secret Angel started the sustainable swimwear brand in 2018, inspired by the high-waisted bikini styles of the 1980s.
Candice told Forbes she was inspired to create the label after becoming a mum to son Anacan in 2016.
“It started as a creative outlet,” the South African-born model said.
“I love photography and imagery and beauty in general. I had been working and shooting swim for so many years, and as a way of keeping my mind working during photo shoots, I would analyse the product.”
Candice welcomed second son Ariel with her former fiance Hermann Nicoli in 2018 but revealed a year later the couple had parted ways.
Her beachside getaway comes after she put in a showstopping appearance at the Red Sea International Film Festival in Saudi Arabia earlier this month.
Candice attended the Cyrano premiere in a white one-shoulder gown that featured a seriously epic train that had to be lifted by an assistant on the red carpet.
