Although, as you can see above from way back in 2006, his early days at premieres were not the refined sartorial moments we’ve come to expect, with odd pairings of cargo pants and short-sleeved button-ups layered over long sleeve tees. Streetwear ensembles aside, Cooper has come a long way in his formalwear.
Off-screen, Cooper’s outfits are a rugged mix of workwear staples, Philadelphia Eagles merch, and the occasional hyped sneaker. Relationships with supermodel Irina Shayk and more recently the (rumoured) pairing with Gigi Hadid, has seen Cooper elevate his style above the somewhat disinteresting outfit combinations of battered jeans and beaten-up sneakers. Now he’s got a new haircut, a love for well-fitting overcoats, and plenty of eye-catching sneakers to round out any fit—even the simple ones.
With his newfound streetwear glow-up it’s important to look back at some of the best style moments in Cooper’s long career. Every three-piece suit, the Nike Shox, and supple leather jackets that helped Cooper stay ‘stylish’ without ever needing to push the envelope too much.
As more and more interest begins to creep into the daily outfit, we’ve rounded up a selection of Cooper’s best work (off-screen) to see just how far this budding menswear maestro has come. Keep on scrolling.
