A bikie boss said he felt “good” before making a surprise plea at court wearing a flashy suit and Versace tie.

A senior Comanchero bikie has swapped out his Versace gown for a suit and tie as he makes a surprise admission to allegations he breached a serious crime prevention order.

Allan Meehan walked up the steps of Sydney’s Downing Centre Local Court just before 9.30 on Thursday morning, telling media he was “feeling good” about his upcoming hearing.

Mr Meehan is used to flaunting his flashy clothes online, showing off his style while posing in a Versace dressing gown alongside his wife.

The 35-year-old fronted court wearing a grey suit paired with a Versace heritage print tie, a matching pocket square and gold watch.

Mr Meehan was holding onto a clutch and wearing Dita sunglasses valued at $1245.

Meanwhile, a friend supporting the bikie was dressed in all black with a long coat and chunky gold chain.

The national president of the Comanchero gang originally pleaded not guilty and was set to defend four charges of breaching a serious crime prevention order (SCPO).

Mr Meehan was arrested on the Gold Coast in January and was charged with four counts of breaching an SCPO.

He is alleged to have fled interstate after he was handed the order in the NSW Supreme Court last November, claiming he had a “$3m hit on his head”.

But in a surprise twist on Thursday, Mr Meehan pleaded guilty to one of the charges while the remaining three were withdrawn.

The order states he must tell police if he plans to live anywhere other than his listed address, is not allowed to use encrypted apps or social media and is banned from associating with 34 people, including high-ranking Comanchero members.

The order was granted on November 21, 2022.
