A thief who nabbed $75,000 in loot remains on the run after a high-end men’s store was targeted during a brazen ram raid in Melbourne’s CBD.

A thief has smashed through the front of a luxury store during a daring ram raid in Melbourne’s CBD.
Police were at the scene of the ram raid at Berluti in Collins Street on Tuesday morning.
A police spokeswoman said it was believed a man used a dark-coloured SUV to hit the front window of the store just before 4.30am.
“The offender then entered the store before leaving again in the vehicle,” she said.
She said the man stole bags, wallets and satchels worth about $75,000 before fleeing.
The offender remains on the run, and the vehicle is yet to be found.
The spokeswoman said the investigation was ongoing.
Berluti sells high-end handcrafted shoes, wallets, accessories and leather goods.
The shop front sustained minor damage the door frames and windows.
Police have urged any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
