The supermodel has been spotted wearing a skimpy $200 two-piece while sunbaking at a Miami beach. Would you dare to wear it?

Move over leopard print, there’s a new animal pattern we’ll be rocking this summer.

Bella Hadid has stepped out in a cheetah-print bikini adorned with gold accessories, giving us all some summer wardrobe inspiration as Australia heads into its warmer months.

The supermodel rocked an itsy bitsy G-string design by Melissa Simone that flaunted her famous figure while sunbaking on a Miami beach in Florida on Tuesday.

Bella wore the “Miya Micro” bikini top, which retails for $111 and the matching bottoms, $89, with a pair of trendy narrow sunnies and metallic jewellery.

As well as stacking gold bangles and rings on both her hands and wrists, the 25-year-old hung a matching chain low on her hips.

She was also spotted strolling across the sand with her bikini strings pulled high on her hips while wearing a white denim skirt – more evidence the ’90s exposed G-string trend is well and truly here to stay.

In recent weeks, a string of well-known faces have been seen rocking the visible G-string look, including Erin Molan and Pip Edwards.

The bold trend was originally popular in the noughties when pop stars such as Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera made it cool to flash your undies.

It made a comeback late last year and is becoming a staple at star-studded parties and on magazine covers.

While the style has developed slightly, preferring to give the illusion of having your G-string on show without actually flashing your knickers, it still has that ’90s pop star vibe to it.

Bella’s relaxing day out to the beach comes a week after she uploaded a series of shocking photos on social media detailing her mental health battle.

The former Victoria’s Secret model, who is the younger sister of Gigi Hadid, uploaded a video of Will Smith’s daughter, Willow Smith, talking about her mental health, before discussing her own struggles in a lengthy post.

Alongside nine photos of herself where she is seen crying, Hadid wrote: “This is pretty much my every day, every night. For a few years now.

“Social media is not real. For anyone struggling, please remember that.

“Self help and mental illness/chemical imbalance is not linear and it is almost like a flowing rollercoaster of obstacles … it has its ups and downs, and side to sides. But I want you to know, there is always light at the end of the tunnel, and the rollercoaster always comes to a complete stop at some point.

“It took me a long time to get that in my mind, but I’ve had enough breakdowns and burnouts to know this: If you work hard enough on yourself, spending time alone to understand your traumas, triggers, joys and routine, you will always be able to understand or learn more about your own pain and how to handle it.”

Hadid has previously spoken about her struggles in the modelling industry, after having walked in the now-defunct Victoria’s Secret Runway Show for three years. She said she “never felt powerful” wearing lingerie on the iconic catwalk.

“For a while I just didn’t want to talk about it, and I’ve gone through a lot in the past few years with my health,” she said at the Vogue Fashion Festival in 2019.

“I feel guilty for being able to live this incredible life, have the opportunities that I do, but somehow still be depressed. It doesn’t make sense.

“I would cry every single morning, I would cry during my lunch breaks, I would cry before I slept. I was very emotionally unstable for a while when I was working 14-hour days for four months straight as an 18-year-old. I think I just wanted to breathe a little bit. And so it kind of put me in a spiral.”
