EASTER is a challenging time for anyone watching their waist but believe it or not, it’s especially trying for super-fit Gold Coast ironwoman Courtney Hancock.
The Goodlife Health Clubs ambassador loves to indulge in hot cross buns and choccy eggs at this time of year, but says nibbling on a few treats risks maxing out the daily calorie intake without realising it.

“Crème eggs are my favourite and they are a whopping 150 calories each egg, which means a dozen of these bad boys can equal almost my daily calorie intake,” she said.

Courtney is big on exercise in burning off the chocolate during the holiday season.
“Try to incorporate exercise into your day rather than trying to force yourself to the gym when you have friends and family visiting,” she said.

“Take your family and friends for a walk along the beach. You can play tour guide while also getting some sneaky exercise in.
“One mini Easter egg only takes a 10-minute walk to work off so go for a big, long walk and then eat your Easter eggs guilt-free.
