Kmart’s “lush” latest homewares range has sparked a frenzy online, with fans taking to social media to share their excitement.

The budget retailer, beloved for its affordable dupes of more high-end furniture and accessories, released its highly-anticipated August living range last week online and in stores.

Inspired by the “globally-trending palm and seashell silhouettes”, the pieces – which range from dinnerware to bedding, lighting and home decor, with prices starting as low as $1.75 – are “reminiscent of the iconic Australian and New Zealand beachside that Kmart lovers call home”.

“Our Kmart customers love our homewares for the sense of joy it brings into their homes, and this season is no different,” Kmart’s divisional merchandise manager Meryn Serong said in a statement.

“Our latest August living launch takes our signature Kmart style and puts a fresh ‘desert oasis’ twist on it, with plenty of pops of colour and fun.

“This range is all about mixing and matching trends and styles – there are no rules this season! We want our customers to be able to express themselves freely with these products, with versatile options and fantastic prices giving them everything they need to let their creativity shine without breaking the bank.”

Fanatics were quick to express their joy at the new range online, declaring it “gorgeous” and “beautiful”.

“Kmart’s new range is off the charts,” one wrote.

While another said: “Absolutely love all the new season! The glasses are fabulous – I went nuts with the gorgeous new towels and bath mats.”

The new range extends from Kmart’s recent Price Drop campaign, which saw the retailer give struggling families some much-needed relief by dropping the price on more than 1000 everyday items across homewares, beauty, toys, entertainment, kids’ apparel and more.

Customers can find it at their local store or online, while stocks last.
