British influencer reveals favourite store after moving to Australia

A British woman who is currently travelling Australia has said she ‘needs’ Kmart Australia to be duplicated in England.

A British woman travelling around Australia with her daughter has shared how she is obsessed with one Australian store not available back home.

TikTok user @maisie_crompton, who is a lifestyle and mum influencer in the UK with 160k followers on the popular video app, shared how much she loved Kmart.

“I went to Kmart for the first time and this was my reaction,” the 21-year-old said, showing her face in a state of shock.

“I was literally so jealous. It’s like a mix of B&M, Primark and Ikea.

“I was just in my element – I love these kinds of places.”

She said if one item, which was retailing for $3, was exchanged to the pound it would cost just £1.50.

Maisie joked that she couldn’t get over it, and asked her followers if they would be interested in a Kmart haul.

She added the shopping centre she was at – Pacific Fair on the Gold Coast – was aesthetically pleasing with fountains, places to sit and gorgeous design features.

“I NEED a Kmart in England!!!! It’s all my favourite shops in one,” she captioned her video.

Social media users backed Maisie – with other overseas travellers agreeing the shopping in Australia was great but Aussies said they would much prefer having stores from the US and UK available Down Under.

“It’s so funny when you guys say you’re amazed by Kmart hahahaha. We wish we had Walmart, US Target, Primark etc,” one person said on Maisie’s video.

Another added: “Yes girl Kmart is life.”

“OMG I’ll swap you a Kmart for a Primark!!! when I was in England I went to Primark like everyday,” another person commented on the video.

“I need to go there! That’s means a trip to Australia,” another joked.

One added: “I brought another suitcase to bring back with me shopping in Aus is the best.”
