An affordable activewear brand has dropped at one of Australia’s biggest department stores, and influencers are raving about it.
Doyoueven launched at Big W on October 28 and there has been a lot of excitement since.
Digital creator Sophie Richard attended the launch event wearing an all black set. But, she “loved” the colour the brand has too.
“After getting a sweat on and testing out the activewear, to say the least, I am so impressed with how affordable they’ve been able to make this collection,” Richard said.
Food and wellness creator Clare Stevenson was also at the launch event.
“The collection is full of butter soft fabrics,” she said.
She also did the Pilates workout in the activewear, and said she loved how it felt.
Other social media users were impressed by the range.
“Look at chuuuu you cutie,” one said.
“Absolutely love,” another said.
“I’m going to buy some now,” another social media user commented.
Ediz Ozturk is the man behind the brand. Twelve years ago the broke university student was studying law and finance. But he always had a passion for health and fitness. In his final year, he decided to quit his studies. He wanted to create an activewear brand. He considered it the catalyst to someone pursuing their wellness journey. But he realised there was not a lot of variation.
Thus, Doyoueven was created.
The brand’s mission was for people to look good in an affordable product. The range in Big W is Doyoueven’s core, mostly focusing on seamless activewear, where Mr Ozturk said Big W previously had a gap.
Mr Ozturk said: “If we focus on just the women’s range, our seamless items is the biggest differentiator.
“A lot of big brands focused on seamed activewear. Doyoueven feels like a second skin. It’s performance orientated. It allows you to breathe and move freely.
“And that’s what you want – you don’t want to feel restricted. Our biggest feedback from shoppers is how much they’ve loved our seamless range.”
That’s why they wanted to bring that collection to Big W.
Mr Ozturk said he was chuffed with the Big W development. He said he hasn’t had a chance for it to settle in. But, the brand has felt welcomed.
Mitch Armitt, the senior category manager of apparel at Big W, told news.com.au there has been a lot of buzz around the brand coming to the department store.
“We’ve seen a lot of excitement online and Doyoueven receiving large numbers of DMs from eager fans,” Mr Armitt said.
“We’re thrilled with the response and can’t wait to see our customers showing off the range.”
There has been a lot of love for the women’s Seamless Luxe Rib pieces. In men’s, it’s all about the High-Tech Performance Jacquard Tee.
“This is just the beginning of our partnership with Doyoueven. While we’re focused on making this first launch a huge success, we have so much more planned for the future,” Mr Armitt said.
“We’re committed to evolving and expanding our offer based on what our customers love. We want to keep the surprises coming and continue bringing amazing Doyoueven products to BIG W customers in fresh and exciting ways.”
