The city’s best electrician came to the rescue during the 2022 southeast Queensland floods, saying they “know it can be stressful without power so we will always answer your call”.

All Access Electrical recently won the Bulletin’s best electrician shout out, securing 28 per cent of the votes.

Owner Joel Crapper said he started the business in 2015 to ensure the community had a reliable operator to help them when they're in need.

He said during the 2022 floods which devastated southeast Queensland they prioritised emergency calls to help families recover in trying times.

“We have made a lot of strides getting the right staff and honing in on our niche, we love doing the emergency work and the call-outs.NED-2822-GCB-APP

“We want to provide a reliable service,” he said. All Access Electricals' communication manager Alyce Clothier said customer service was their top priority.

“We always answer the phone, turn up when we say we will and let the customer know what is happening in plane English,” she said.

“Especially during these floods, the team are doing their best to get to every call out.“Obviously, at the moment there are hazards that mean we can’t complete every job right there and then but we will always do what we can.

“We know how frustrating and stressful it can be without power, especially during these times, so we just want everyone to know we are here if you need us,” Ms Clothier said.
